This exhibit is centered on some photographers that worked in pure black and white prints, highly contrasted and with deep tonalities. Two of these, Mario Giacomelli and the contemporary artist Sean Kernan also have in common their inspiration often based on poetry and literature, and they  share a common source in texts by Jorge Luis Borges. What Giacomelli and Daido Moriyama share is mostly the search for high contrasts and compositions that often edge on the abstract.
