Chris Engman's Ink on Paper series are trompe l'œil constructions that use the basic elements of photography: ink, paper, frame. In the Erased Lynchings, Ken Gonzales-Day digitally removes the victims from archival lynching images to reveal the mechanisms and spectacle of racial violence. Lia Halloran's Your Body is a Space That Sees are cameraless cyanotypes that highlight the significant contributions made by the female astronomers at the Harvard Observatory.
